Learn the Art of Samurai Movement through Authentic Tate

What is Samurai Sword Choreography (Tate)?

Experience the spirit of Bushido through authentic Tate, the traditional Japanese art of samurai sword choreography.

Tate is the traditional Japanese performing art of choreographed sword combat, widely used in samurai films and stage productions. Rather than real fighting, it emphasizes precision, rhythm, posture, and mutual trust to create dynamic yet safe performances.

During this experience, you will learn directly from professional performers of Tokyo Kenbukai “Shiden-ryu” and perform your own short samurai scene while discovering The spirit of Bushido through movement.
